We are a group of international gay men living in the Netherlands. Our kring main language is English because we are all from different countries hence we speak different mother tongues. We meet at least once a month to catch up and to do an activity together like, playing board games, walking in nature, going out for a drink and/or food, going on a day trip, or something else.
Once a year, we also organize a weekend away together. Usually in the Summer. So far we have been to a few different places in the Netherlands and Belgium.
At the time of writing, we have the following nationalities in the group: Chinese, Dutch, Indian, Portuguese, Romanian, and Serbian. We try to make sure there are not more than 2 persons of the same nationality in the group in order to preserve the diversity of the group and to prevent having a dominant language.
Most of us live in Utrecht but some of us live in Amsterdam or Arnhem. Therefore, we do most of our meetings in Utrecht but also go to the other cities once in a while.
The majority of us are in the age range between 30 and 40. We try to stick to this range when welcoming new members because this helps with connecting and finding things in common.
